Cropping

4x6 or proof	5x7 & wallet crop	8x10 or larger crop

• Digital proofs are in a 4x6 ratio and will be cropped to the correct ratio when you order your prints. A vertical picture will be cropped from the top and/or bottom and a horizontal picture will be cropped from the left and/or right sides. Please see example above.
  • A 5x7 will be cropped less then the 8x10.
• An 8x10 and larger will be cropped the most (about 1/4 of the picture will be taken off).
• A 4x6 print will look exactly like the digital proofs you see, unless you request differently.
  
  
• If you would like to see a horizontal picture as vertical or vice versa, Saima may be able to make the change by cropping. Just ask!
  
  
• Saima will personally crop all the pictures, making any adjustments you want, before sending them to the lab. Saima takes great care to make sure important parts of the picture are intact.
  
  
• If you are concerned about how your print will be cropped please make a note on your order.
