Your Session
My philosophy when taking your portraits is to capture those special moments before they are gone. I love to get more natural type poses where your child is playing and smiles because they are having fun not because they were forced to smile. Sometimes this is possilble when I create games or pretend stories with them. Family type portraits I usually do several posed shots but I always try to get some interactive and fun shots that show true family interaction. There is no time limit on sessions so everyone can get comfortable. Typically a session lasts an hour but if more time is needed that's fine!
A typical session includes two background changes and one clothing change although more can be added. Within one week you can view the digital proofs of your session on my website. Your digital proofs will have the best pictures from your session and I will add some effects such as black and white and color tinting to name a few. The online proofing is a perfect way to share with family and friends.

Appointments
When you setup an appointment we can discuss your session and make it just what you want. Sessions appointments are held on Thursday and Fridays between 9am and 5pm. There are some limited Saturday sessions available as well. To setup a session appointment, please call Saima at 763.565.6789 or email. New! You can now setup appointments online anytime!
